Eddie Olston (エディ・オルストン, Edi Orusuton?) is a British international business tycoon (a wealthy, powerful person in business or industry) and the heir to his father's company Olsonet, the husband of Ferris Olston and the father of Carol Olston whose current whereabouts are unknown.

Appearance[]

In his youth, Eddie wore a tailored suit and had a side slit in his hair.

Background[]

Sixteen years ago, Eddie Olston who is sixteen meets with his then-girlfriend (later wife) Ferris in her family café. He explained that his father, the head of a very large company, wanted him to move to Japan to study abroad in another two years. He then asked Ferris to come with him as his wife because he wouldn't be able to come back. Ferris declined because she is only thirteen and in two years she'll be fifteen and still won't be able to marry. This answer shocked Eddie, and he broke down because of this sudden realisation. Ferris then comforted him by asking if it would really be okay to have someone else take her away because of her age. Eddie, filled with understanding, proposed saying he will postpone his abroad studies and wait until Ferris is an adult. Ferris accepted, but warned Eddie that he would still have to convince her father, who would certainly be upset at this revelation. Ferris then smiled and says that the baby will certainly be happy too. Eddie had another mental blank from another realisation.

Relationships[]

Ferris Olston[]

Ferris is Eddie's wife who met with her at a diner in England sixteen years ago as he was moving to study abroad in Japan so he asked her to come with him, therefore he asked her to marry him too. At this time, he was unaware that she was only thirteen due to her mature-looking body and that she was pregnant with Carol Olston.

Carol Olston[]

Carol is Eddie's daughter.

Trivia[]

  • It's because of Eddie that Ferris Olston raised Carol Olston the way she did.
  • It is implied that Eddie's father intended for him to take over Olsonet and the boy's move to Japan to study had to do with it.
  • Eddie only appears in a flashback extra for Volume 3 of the manga and is never shown in the present time. He also does not appear in the anime adaptation either due to this part of the manga not being shown.
    • While it is not implied that he is gone or anything like that, it could make a person wonder where he is in the present time beyond the assumption tha he is busy with work.
